Like hundreds of
full-time workers out there, I found myself out of a job and feeling
desperate. After I finished feeling sorry for myself, I started
seriously looking for work. Every day, I religiously read the
classified ads from my local newspaper. I tracked down my contacts
and let them know I was looking for a job. I contacted recruiting
agencies, head-hunters and any other lead I could get my hands on.
The Internet proved
to be an enormous help in my job hunting. I couldn't believe the
valuable information I found, like interviewing tips, job listings,
resume writing techniques, and countless web directories related to
finding a job.
I finally did get a
job! I'm happy. My family is happy. Even my dogs seem to be smiling
at me now.
I did not want all
my research on the Internet go to waste. That is why I decided to
set up "George's Job Fair". This directory, of sorts, is a
compilation of the various websites I visited during my job-hunting
days. Use it well and good luck in finding yourself a job!
